Look up the BIMI record at default._bimi.domain, check the logo against the SVG Tiny PS rules and the mark certificate behind it, and confirm DMARC is strict enough for any inbox to show it. Free, no sign-up.
BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) is a TXT record pointing supporting inboxes at your logo. It is the last step of email authentication, not the first: no inbox shows a logo until the domain's DMARC policy is at quarantine or reject with pct=100.
Then each inbox applies its own rules. Yahoo Mail shows a logo from the record alone. Gmail and Apple Mail also require a mark certificate: a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) for a registered trademark, or a Common Mark Certificate (CMC) for a logo in documented use.
v=BIMI1Must come first, spelled exactly.
l=HTTPS URL of the logo: an SVG in the Tiny Portable/Secure profile, square, ideally under 32 KB. Empty declines BIMI.
a=HTTPS URL of a PEM file holding your VMC or CMC. Required by Gmail and Apple Mail.
baseProfile="tiny-ps", version="1.2", a <title>, and no scripts, raster images, animation or external links.
p=quarantine or p=reject, pct=100, and no sp=none.
Almost always default. Other selectors can be chosen per message with a BIMI-Selector header.
Gmail needs a valid VMC or CMC in the a= tag, DMARC at enforcement, and enough sending reputation. A correct record is necessary but not sufficient: the final decision is the inbox's.
Export a square SVG, then edit the root element to version="1.2" baseProfile="tiny-ps", add a <title> with your brand name, and remove scripts, embedded images, and any x/y attributes on the root. Some design tools and converters export Tiny PS directly.
For Yahoo, no. For Gmail and Apple Mail, yes: a VMC (registered trademark) or a CMC (a logo you have used publicly for at least a year).
Not directly. It needs strong authentication first, which helps delivery on its own, and a recognisable logo can lift open rates.
Point an MCP client (Claude, Cursor, any agent) at https://powerline.ai/mcp and call check_record, or hit the JSON endpoint directly. No key, no account.

Read the DMARC policy, alignment and reporting tags, and check that report addresses will accept reports.
SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, BIMI and blacklists in one run, scored out of 100 with a fix list.
Find the DKIM public key for a selector (or auto-detect common ones) and check its size and flags.
Validate the SPF record, follow every include, and count DNS lookups against the limit of 10.
